Last year our Wedding of the Year competition was a huge success - readers from all over the region entered for their chance to be crowned with the title. So this year we've decided to run the competition again; only we've upped the ante with a luxurious stay at the fabulous Hotel Du Vin Bristol.
How does it work?
Throughout the year, we'll be looking for couples whose Bristol & Somerset-based weddings have taken place between October, 2011 and September, 2012. Every issue we'll reveal the shortlisted couples, and readers can vote online for their favourite. The winner of each issue will go through to the final, which will be held in spring next year.
Any newlyweds can enter the competition: it doesn't matter whether the wedding was large or small; modest or spectacular. Remember, it's the readers who vote, and determine who ends up in the final - and ultimately who wins!
How to enter
If you'd like to put your wedding forward, simply click on 'I want to enter' link above, where you'll find a short entry form. Once you've filled in your details click 'submit' and, if your entry has been successful, a member of the team will contact you. It's as simple as that.
What’s the prize?

The overall winners will not only claim the all-important Wedding of the Year title, they'll also win a two-night luxury break at Ston Easton Park, near Bath, Somerset, in one of its glorious State bedrooms.
The prize includes a bottle of house champagne, gourmet dinner for two each evening, a cream tea for two on one afternoon and a full English breakfast each morning. Terms and conditions apply, dates are subject to availablity.
Ston Easton Park is a luxurious hotel full of antique furnishings and stylish country charm. Surrounded by 36 acres of glorious parkland, with the River Norr running through the grounds, the opulence inside is matched by the beauty outside. Nestled in a romantic West Country estate, Ston Easton Park is a Palladian mansion, which blends rich heritage with the exacting standards of a four-star hotel.
Not only does the hotel boast a picturesque Mendip Hills setting, but it also features an authentic Victorian garden that provides much of the fresh, seasonal produce used in its award-winning restaurant. The hotel prides itself on being flexible and is happy to discuss individual ideas and suggestions. Whether for a small, intimate dinner party or a grand wedding, Ston Easton Park is an idyllic venue in which to say ‘I do’.
